Israeli soccer team Maccabi Haifa were playing a “friendly” game against Lille in Switzerland when the field was invaded by Palestine-flag-waving fans. The fans then proceeded to attack the Maccabi players, forcing the game to be abandoned.

The marauding fans were protesting the ongoing situation in Gaza.

The Maccabi Haifa players were all able to leave the field without any serious injuries.
